Along with daily care costs, the adoption fees help Pen Pals Inc. cover vaccination and medical prep costs for the pets.
Our adoption fees exceed ALL other shelters. We can offer this low cost because we operate in unison with local Police Departments, Louisiana State University School of Veterinary Medicine, other volunteer Veterinarians, assistance from Department of Corrections employees,, Aides, and the community donations.
